ABOUT THE SAN ANTONIO LOCAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE The San Antonio Sports Foundation is a Texas not-for-profit corporation that has been designated as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. San Antonio Sports Foundation doing business as the San Antonio Local Organizing Committee (SALOC) is responsible for working with the NCAA® to plan the 2004 Men’s Final Four®. The Chairman of the San Antonio Local Organizing Committee is Pat Frost, President and CEO of Frost Bank. The Executive Director is Wendy McCauley, who recently served as the Executive Director of the 2002 NCAA® Women's Final Four®. SALOC, the University of Texas at San Antonio and the Alamodome will host the 2004 NCAA® Final Four® April 3 and 5, 2004. To make the most of this unique opportunity for the city, SALOC has utilized seasoned volunteers from the San Antonio Sports Foundation who have served in events from the 1993 Olympic Festival to the 2002 NCAA® Final Four®. SALOC and its Executive Committee, our Executive Director and the San Antonio Sports Foundation staff, will continue to work together on the 2004 Men’s Final Four®.
