Thank You San Antonio!

We have had a great response to our call for volunteers for the 2004 NCAA® Final Four®. The San Antonio Local Organizing Committee (SALOC) is pleased to announce that it has secured all the volunteers it needs, at this time, for the 2004 Final Four.

“More than 1,100 people have sent in their volunteer applications in recent months, many within the last few weeks,” said SALOC executive director Wendy McCauley. “We are grateful and proud that so many San Antonians want to share their time and talent to help us make this the best Final Four ever.”

We continue to take applications to be placed on our waiting list. Although we have filled our existing volunteer positions, additional volunteer needs may arise at any time between now and the Final Four.

If you would like to be placed on our waiting list, please download our volunteer application and fax/mail it to the San Antonio Sports Foundation (fax number and address are at the bottom of the form).

Volunteer Orientation Schedule

If you have been scheduled to work the 2004 NCAA Final Four, you are required to attend one of the following orientation meetings:

Parking will be in Lot A on the south side of the Alamodome. Enter the Dome through the south tunnel entrance and follow the signs. Volunteer uniforms will be distributed immediately after orientation.

Be prepared to show photo I.D. and have all bags inspected before entering the Dome.
No large bags or backpacks will be allowed in the Dome.
